Steps to Request Account Closure
1. Verify Your Identity: To ensure the security of your account, please provide the following information:

◦ Email Address associated with the account
◦ Phone Number
◦ Member ID (if applicable)
2. Submit Your Request: You can submit your account closure request through the following method:
◦ Email: Send an email to info@ummahwa.com.au with the subject line “Account Closure Request”.
Data Deletion and Retention
• Deleted Data: Upon account closure, the following data will be permanently deleted:
◦ Personal Information (e.g., name, email, phone number)
◦ Account Activity and History
◦ Membership Details
• Retained Data: Certain information may be retained for legal or administrative purposes, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This includes:
◦ Transaction Records
◦ Communication Logs
• Retention Period: Retained data will be kept for a period of up to 7 years, as required by law.
Important Information
• Processing Time: Account closure requests are typically processed within 5-7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your request has been completed.
• Reactivation: If you change your mind, you can reactivate your account within 30 days of closure by contacting our support team.
